Program description
On the shores of the Pacific coast, nestled between lush jungle and a stunning ocean, lies the perfect spot for surfing and immersing yourself in nature's splendour in Colombia. Our surf camp is situated in Cabo Corrientes, a 90-minute boat ride from Nuquí Airport, within one of the world's most biodiverse regions. Here, you can enjoy a unique blend of excellent surfing and pristine nature away from the crowds and mass tourism.
The area offers consistent, high-quality waves suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced surfers. You will explore different uncrowded surf spots and choose the best conditions each day. Sessions are scheduled around the tides and swells to ensure optimal surfing conditions, with plenty of time in the water and personalised guidance.
You will stay at an eco-friendly jungle ecolodge that is designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. Days begin early, with you waking up before sunrise to listen to the jungle come to life. Then, you can grab your surfboard and head out to the line-up, where you'll find no crowds in sight. After surfing, you can relax, explore the jungle, or enjoy the delicious local cuisine.
This surf camp offers more than just surfing; it provides a complete immersion in nature, rhythm and adventure on Colombia’s untamed Pacific coast.

Itinerary Details
Day 1: Nuquí - Punta Brava
Flight Medellín - Nuquí (approximately 45 minutes), transfer by boat (approximately 90 minutes), check-in at the hotel and first surf session. Newtours Colombia will welcome you at Nuqui Airport. The journey to paradise is ready to begin. After a 45-minute flight and a 90-minute boat transfer, you will arrive at our wonderful hotel perfectly located between the sea and the jungle. Surrounded by dense green forests and enchanting beaches, without a doubt the perfect place to start this adventure. If you still feel strong and the conditions are good, you can start your first surf session in the afternoon. During the night you will enjoy a delicious dinner and relax in front of our outdoor barbecue.
Day 2 to day 3 Nuquí - Termales - Cabo Corrientes
Surf guide in the spot of the day
Early each morning, after a delicious breakfast, we head out to surf at first light. Depending on the conditions, we carefully select the best location to ensure high-quality surf sessions and the best possible experience in the water. After lunch, the afternoons are dedicated to discovering the surrounding jungle through exciting guided excursions. You’ll have the chance to observe the region’s extraordinary biodiversity and immerse yourself in the sounds of the rainforest—the whispers, calls, and rhythms of the wild. Refresh yourself at the enchanting Waterfall of Love, unwind in natural hot springs after a day of surfing, snorkel in the clear waters of Guachalito Beach, or join activities such as whale watching tours and traditional fishing. Your local guide knows the area intimately and will safely lead you to these hidden treasures.
As evening falls, it’s time to relax, share stories from the day, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner in a peaceful jungle setting.
Note: You can also book a boat trip to Cabo Corrientes, home to the famous surf spot Pico de Loro, known for its powerful and consistent waves.
Day 4 - Airport Transfers - Return flight
Goodbye! It's time to say until next time. Transfer to the airport and return flight. End of program.

Route
The proposed itinerary may differ due to logistic or climatic conditions. It is possible that we have to reverse the order of the activities to be carried out, but still visit the mentioned sights and surfspots.
Recommendations
Sun protection, constant hydration, bring some cash (there are no ATMs or banks in the area), and repellent.
Surf Guiding, lessons
The program includes 3 X surf guiding or lessons in the surf spots of the surrounding incl. equipment, surf coach. You can book more surf sessions or boat trips to cano Corrientes, once there.
Requirements
Only for adults (18 years old), children only in company with their parents, no chronic disease and good swimming skills.
Vaccination
We advise to get the yellow fever vaccine. This must be applied at least 10 days before the trip.
Meals
All meals are included in the program. If you required special food (vegetarian, vegan) or suffer from allergies, please inform us before starting the tour.
