Nuqui Surf Boat Trip

 Day 2 to day 6: Nuquí - Termales 

Surf guide in the spot of the day (During these days, we will cover all the surf spots around Termales such as Playa Terco, Playa Terquito, Arusí, and Cabo Corrientes. Optional activities included: excursion to the jungle, the "Amor" waterfall, hot springs, snorkeling, traditional fishing, and whale watching tour (only during season July - October).

Very early each morning, after a delicious breakfast and with equipment on board, we will begin a boat trip to the break of the day. Depending on the conditions, Newtours Colombia will choose the best place to enjoy the surf sessions. One of the main destinations will be "Cabo Corrientes", home of the famous surf spot "Pico de Loro". After lunch and during the afternoons you can discover the jungle with exciting excursions, which we have included in the program. You will have the opportunity to observe the immense biodiversity and listen to the whispers and buzzes of the jungle.
The waterfall of "love", where you can cool off, the hot springs to relax after the surf sessions, snorkeling in Guachalito beach, whale watching tour, or traditional fishing are just some of the activities that will be at the order of the day. Your guide knows exactly the way and will take you everywhere. In the evening, time to relax and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

 Day 7: Transfers Nuquí to Jurubirá

Transfers by boat to Jurubirá (1.5 hours), check-in at the hotel and surf session. Breakfast and transfer by boat to the town of Jurubirá, the next stop of our Surfari through the Gulf of Tribugá. After check-in and lunch, you will start your surf session. Jurubirá is home to the longest wave in this area. During epic days there can be runs of up to 500 meters. This will be the time when you can practice and show off your best moves. After an intensive day of transfers and surfing, you will have time to relax at the hotel or take a walk around the town. In the evening, dinner and rest.

 Day 8 - 9:  Jurubirá 

Daily surf guiding in Jurubirá, the longest waves in the area. Activities included during these days: Visit to the Utria National Park, Playa Blanca Tour, Hot Springs in the town of Jurubirá, and whale watching in season (July-October).

After your early surf sessions, you will have the option to visit the national park of Utria. Every year, hundreds of whales escape the Antarctic cold and undertake a journey of 8,000 kilometers to arrive punctually in July in the Colombian Pacific, their summer residence. The visitors stay here for up to 4 months to give birth to their babies and raise them. The area is therefore perfect for its sighting and to start expeditions in the tropical forest. Also get to know Playa Blanca, an idyllic place in the middle of this beautiful natural park.

 Day 10 - 13: Jurubirá - El Valle. Optional: Lodging and activities in Bahia Solano 

Last surf session in Jurubirá, transfers to "EL Valle" (1h), hotel check-in. Daily surf guide. Optional and included activities during these days: Visit to the Brazo Largo indigenous community, intercultural exchange, kayak tour on the Mecana River, and botanical garden.

After breakfast (day 10), you will enjoy the waves in Jurubirá for the last time, then you will continue your trip. The next stop is "El Valle", an exotic town in the middle of the jungle. There, you will surf again for the next 3 days. This spot is known to be one of the most consistent and solid in the area.
Almost all year round the waves are breaking, but the best thing is to have the beautiful jungle in the background, while you are in the water. During these days, you will also offer some activities, which are included in the program. If you want to discover the surroundings instead of surfing, you can join the tours.
During the nights you will enjoy a delicious local dinner in front of the beach. Day 13 is the last day of surfing. You will enjoy 2 long surf sessions so you can take the best memories with you.

Day 14 - Transfers El Valle - Bahia Solano - Return flight

Goodbye! Transfers by boat to Bahía Solano Airport. It's time to say until next time. Transfer to the airport and return flight. End of program.

Itinerary schedule
The suggested itinerary may have variations due to logistical or climatic conditions. We may have to reverse the order of the activities to be carried out, but always visit the places mentioned and with surfing as the main activity.
 

Lodging Bahia Solano
Bahia Solano will be visited only if the client wishes, otherwise we will be in El Valle for the last days.
