Program description
The perfect plan for intermediate or advanced surfers who wish to practice their skills during their stay in the Tayrona area. An exciting experience designed not only to surf the different waves of the region but to enjoy nature in all its splendor.
Privileged to have surf breaks for all levels, we will choose “the spot of the day”, according to the conditions of the wind and the tides. We will pick you up at the hotel every morning with equipment on board and once in the water our guides will help you with recommendations. We have different types of surfboards according to the type of wave and level of each person. The warm water all year round, the lovely sunsets, the idyllic surroundings and the exquisite cuisine will make your vacation unforgettable.
Newtours Colombia will provide an enchanting accommodation beachfront. In addition, powerful breakfast and daily surf guiding. This program is also complemented with included activities to discover different places of interest in the surroundings, before or after each surf session.

Itinerary Details
Day 1
Arrival in Santa Marta, transfer to Tayrona (40 min), hotel Check-in and tour briefing. Arrival in Santa Marta airport or bus station. Drive to the Tayrona sector and check in at the Hostel. We will show you the amazing surroundings and give you the best tipps for your stay. Tour briefing and organisation for the next days.
Day 2
Surf guiding, sunny days, beach. Breakfast and first surf session. We will pick you up and drive to the surf spot of the day. In the afternoon you can enjoy the beach and the surroundimgs.
Day 3
Surf guiding, Quebrada Valencia waterfall or Pozas de Mendihuaca (Natural swimming pool) Breakfast and second surf session. In the afternoon we will start a tour to the waterfall or Pozas de mendihuaca to enjoy nature in all its splendor. After surfing we will go for a refreshing beer in the village. You will have the opportunity to see the locals lifestyle.
Day 4
Last surf guiding and return trip. Breakfast and third surf session. Early we will drive to the beach to enjoy our last waves. Check-out and transfer back to Santa Marta.

Accommodation
The accommodation for this program will take place in a Finca-Hostel located just three kilometers from the main entrance of the majestic Tayrona park, very famous for its exotic beaches. The landscape and nature of the area are incredible. For this plan you can choose between shared dorms or private bungalows, both beachfront. On request we can book private accomodation.
Recommendations
Sun protection, constant hydration, bring some cash (there are no ATMs or banks in the area), and repellent.
Surf lessons
The program includes 3 x 2h surf guiding and daily transportation to the advanced surfspots.
Requirements
Only for adults (18 years old), children only in company with their parents, no chronic disease and good swimming skills.
Transfers from / to Santa Marta
We can coordinate a fast transportation service for the first and last day respectively.
Meals
3 x breakfast with fruits and a bottle of water are included in the program. Let us know your preferences and we will delight you every morning. Lunch and dinner are offered in the restaurant on site. You can choose among a wide variety of Colombian dishes. If you have special dietary requirements, please communicate this when making the reservation.
